Ice Field – Installations for The Art of Climate Change by Cape Farewell

Ice Field was an installation Max created as part of the exhibition: The Art of Climate Change, by Cape Farewell.

Max’s installation was displayed at the exhibition at The Natural History Museum in London, 2006, Hamburg in 2007 and Madrid in 2008.

The installation consisted of crystal glass shapes attached to a board, which were occasionally struck by metal balls suspended by wire and attached to motors. Microphone pickups behind each glass shape amplified the sound, which was then processed and amplified through speakers in the space.
